Andrew is a stocky left-handed pitcher. On the mound Andrew featured a fastball at 79 and 78 mph, and a cb at 68. No other pitcher had hitters making softer contact or taking uglier swings than he did, and as a lefty, letting the quality of the hitters' swings tell you how good he is a good idea.  His mechanics were clean other than a short stride and he had a very deceptive release point. Increasing his stride and adding velocity will help Andrew to the next level.  During his BP session he had lots of movement at the plate with a steep swing path, he showed power and the ability to drive ball, which are some indications that as he learns to more functionally use his body there is more power in his pitching to come.
