Shamus is a left-handed hitting left-handed throwing outfielder with a lean and strong athletic body, with slightly above average actions and footwork in the outfield with a slightly above average arm during his defensive portion. He made a spectacular diving catch toward the RF line and threw ball well during games. During his BP session Shamus featured quick hands, a solid load, and a flat bat path, he did have a hard landing on his front side but kept his head still and drove the ball around. He had solid game at-bats and squared up balls. On the mound, Shamus featured a clean delivery with arm side run. He had a short stride, more use of his legs to gain velocity down the mound will increase his fastball velocity, his fastball was between 80 and 77 mph is breaking ball was between 70 and 68 mph. Shamus has a strong future based on his showing at BAWS.
