Luke is a left-handed pitcher/outfielder small in stature, with solid athleticism and feel for the game. From the outfield he demonstrated he is an above average outfielder with actions and feel, and his arm plays slightly above average in the outfield. At the plate during the BP session, he took good swings had a nice load, with inside path to the ball. Luke drove line drives around the park. In the game he continued by hitting the ball hard, getting a triple and too hard hit singles. On the mound Luke featured a loose arm with good arm side run, and he showed good command on both sides of the plate, pounded the zone with two different pitches.  If he can increase his stride length and leg drive down the slope that will equal more arm speed, and will add 3 to 5 mph to his fastball.  That being said, he has a chance to become an effective college pitcher at the D1 level.
