Hi Blaine,
I don't know if this matters but I thought I read somewhere that you wanted to know when players who attended BAWS commit. Our son, Evan Fujii-Sisler just committed to University of Puget Sound.
Can't thank you enough because he got the MOST attention from the BAWS event by FAR compared to the other showcases he attended this past summer. It really kicked off the whole summer for him talking to coaches. Truly appreciate all your hard work organizing these events! You're awesome!
All our best wishes to you!
Juline Fujii
Blaine,
I wanted to thank you very much for allowing us to be part of this year's BAWS 2026 tournament. It was one of the most well-run events we've attended to date. Great job and great experience. Justin was already contacted by two schools so it was also very effective.
Thanks again.
Eileen (Justin's mom)
Hello Blaine,
Hope you had an enjoyable weekend (at BAWS Uncmtd)! Just a quick note of appreciation for the work you’ve done posting, editing and everything else that goes into make things like this happen. Thank you and hope to be out there soon.

From some college recruiting coordinators after BAWS 2025:
Hi Blaine,
I also wanted to personally thank you for putting on such a great event. BAWS has become one of my favorite events of the year due to how you and your team run things. The quality of play is as tightly uniform as any event I attend, which makes it so much easier to evaluate players apples-to-apples.
Thank you again and I hope you are having a great start to the summer.

Hi Blaine!
Just wanted to reach out and say thank you for hosting an incredible event. Was my first year attending and I was super impressed. Events that are this well organized with good talent are hard to find. I'll be back next year!
Thanks again for the contact information and database!
Hey Blaine,
I know you're probably swamped with all the post-BAWS follow-up, but I just wanted to say thanks for running such a great event. It was an awesome experience for everyone involved. I spoke with a bunch of parents, family members, and players who felt the same way.
Congratulations on another successful BAWS. It couldn't be easy to execute!

Good evening Blaine,
I wanted to thank you for having Corbin last weekend, it was a great experience. It's always beneficial to get more comfortable in those settings so for that I am appreciative for you inviting him to your event. Let me know if you have any future things he should attend.
Take care and talk soon,
Jim Culver

Hi Blaine,
Phil Duncan here, Luke's Dad.
Just wanted to drop a quick note and tell you how impressed I am with your events. Professional grade all the way and best among any of the other events we've done. Love how engaged you are and your advocacy for the players. So well done. Thank you.
(Luke is now a standout pitcher at Los Medanos JC)
Hi Blaine,
I wanted to drop you a quick note and thank you. Getting Carson to throw an inning at BAWS was great for his recruiting. It gave some coaches a chance to see him throw which was good because he got hurt a week later at a camp and didn't throw for the rest of the summer. So if it was not for the inning he threw at your event, some of them would not have seen him and would not have made him an offer. So I can't thank you enough for finding a spot for him and allowing him to throw an inning.
We sincerely appreciate it.

Blaine,
Thank you so much for another great event and for the awesome tweet for Will! That was so helpful for him, thank you so much.
I was so impressed with BAWS last year and I was excited Will would get to compete again at such a great local event. And then the world started falling apart. You have no idea how much this baseball mom appreciates getting to see my kid back out there doing what he’s worked so hard for. It was so much for you to get through to make it happen. A pandemic, wildfires, so much. When some organizations called it quits, you showed those kids how to push through and make it happen.
Thank you for everything you did to provide this opportunity!

Blaine - thank you very much for having Griffin be a part of the Bay Area World Series. He really enjoyed getting to know other players and compete. You put in on a first class event that was run very well and well attended by colleges.
Thanks again. I know it is a lot of work!

Blaine,
I just wanted to reach out to you personally as a dad and express gratitude for your recognition of Jake and inclusion of him at various events. (including just saying hello to him as it means a lot). Its hard to get noticed up in Chico and for the first time ever Jake is starting to get some more serious interest from D-1 coaches. I know at least one of them mentioned PBR and BAWS videos.
Anyway, I appreciate your efforts for Jake and all these other kids. Trying to navigate your way to college is tough enough without help.
Cheers.

Blaine,
Just wanted to say thanks for providing Adam with the opportunity to workout for you and your staff on July 28th, and throw a few innings at BAWS.
Genuinely impressed with how well you communicate across the entire Norcal community -- and your events are run equally as impressive. Professional, focused, high quality experience, motivating for every player.
He plans to keep working hard with CCB & Sanzeri, and hopes to stay on your radar in the coming years.
Thank you again, and congrats on a great event.

Hi Blaine,
We would like to thank you so much for putting on a great weekend for the boys. The way you ran the event was really good. You did a great job at making sure all the kids got seen and got their reps in. The field and the stadium felt comfortable and welcoming.
This was a great event at a great venue. From a spectators point of view, it looked like the BAWS staff and River Islands staff actually cared about the kids and the the event... don't see that too much anymore. Too many events these days are just about collecting the money and taking care of the dudes they want to take care of.
We wanted to thank you in person but could tell you were extremely busy. What YOU do for so many boys means a lot! It’s much appreciated by our family. Hope to see you at one of the events and meet you in person this summer.
Best Regards,
Brittany & Mike Haynes

Happy 4th, Blaine.
I wanted to give you an update on my son, Nate, and what your event did for him. Within weeks of attending the BAWS, we had at least four schools reach out to him (UC Davis, Sac State, University of Nevada, and George Fox), I know there was more but those are the ones that stuck out. As of last week, Nate has verbally committed to UC Davis. I just want you to know I am personally spreading the word to this year’s incoming Juniors that if you are a top player on your team you should try your best to get an invite to the BAWS, as that is where the scouts are.
Again thank you for putting on a quality event.
Best wishes,
Robert Freeman
