Evin has a smaller but sturdy catchers frame, he featured average actions and a slightly above average arm during the throwing portion and pop times to second base, his practice time’s range between 2.19 and 2.33 seconds. Evan has a solid set up, and caught the ball well, but needs to work on staying lower and more direct while throwing to second base. His in game times were 2.26, 2.32, and 2.39. He had a solid BP session he featured a small load and separation but a steep path to the ball. Evan would help himself out by flattening out his swing and incorporating his legs more into the movement. With a strong fall defensive program, and added weight work look for Evan to be a solid defensive player.
