Marcus is a powerful but smallish middle infielder that during the infield workout demonstrated that he has average fielding ability and an average arm, in the game he displayed slightly above average defense of ability. Marcus's batting practice featured quick hands and a clean swing path, he drove the ball to the gaps and showed he had some thunder in his bat, in the game he continued by hitting balls hard, driving a double into the gap. More strength and quickness will help him play at another level.
