Ryan has a well-built frame, appropriate for 3B.  He showed average infield actions as he was catching the ball a bit deep between his legs.  Ryan could use a little better first step quickness as well. He featured an average arm at a three-quarter type sling across the diamond, meaning he needs to work on a higher arm stroke, and keeping his fingers on top of the ball, to eliminate throws taking the 1B into the runner. During his batting practice this timing was a bit off bu Ryan was solid during the games, as he smoked two triples with quick flat  swings and he hit several other balls hard also.  He made consistent contact, not striking out in his 6 ABs.  There is some hit-ability here and a corner position player profile.
