Gabriel is a right-handed hitting catcher with an average arm.  His arm works from a three-quarter arm slot and like many young catchers he was too narrow and too high behind the plate, and did not have enough movement through the ball to lower his pop times. Gabriel's pop times ranged between 2.25 seconds and 2.35 seconds. Those can come down with a combination of widening out the stance, moving through the ball, and shortening up the arm stroke and bringing it up to a high three-quarter position, not the current low three-quarter position. At the plate during BP his swings were a bit steep and resulted in a lot of right side contact. Flattening out the swing, creating length in the zone, will equal more success for Gabriel.
