Connor is a catcher with a solid frame, with an average arm behind the plate and average foot speed. His stance was a little narrow behind the plate. Spreading out the feet as if guarding somebody in basketball, and then pointing the toes towards shortstop and second base would be ideal. His pop times range between 2.18 and 2.37 seconds. With some hardwork and understanding of how to move through the ball those pop-times could drop under 2.0 very easily. During batting practice Connor featured swing that was slightly steep, he used his hands well but did not engage in his lower half enough into the swing. As he links those two together better he will see more positive results. During the games Connor collected a couple of hard-hit singles, along with some just missed fly balls. He's generally short to the ball with good bat speed. He's got some tools to work with.
