Peyton has a tall athletic body type, with an above average arm and solid infield actions, though his arms stroke could be shortened a bit, as it is a little long for a left side infielder. At the plate Peyton has an athletic stance, a solid load, with a down angled, somewhat steep swing path. During the games Peyton's swing was steep, as he produced several high fly balls due slicing the bottom of the ball, with a hard single. On the mound Peyton features a high over the top delivery that does not utilize his lower half completely, he sat between 83 and 80 mph, and featured a breaking ball at 71 mph. He had a good feel off the mound with solid command, and should be able to increase his velocity with an arm program. There is enough raw strength, athleticism and size to stay intrigued in his development.
