Andrew Ciandro, St. Francis CCC '17 #23·P

L/R / 6'1" 215 / 3.0 GPA

Fastball: 83-85 / Curveball: 76

Andrew is a physical, well-built right-handed pitcher.  He featured a fastball that sat between 85 and 83 Mph, and a breaking ball he spun up there at 76 mph. Andrew has a smooth delivery, with a strong leg drive to the plate, rather than lifting his stride leg up, making a down movement, then driving to the plate.  That would allow him to gather more of his power at the top of his lift.  Cleaning up his lower half will allow Andrew more consistency, and repeatability with his pitches.   He's got a good arm and an aggressive approach on the mound.  There is a chance to see him spike the velo this spring.
