Kai is an athletic shortstop with solid hands, quick feet and an above average arm from the infield. He moved through the ball well, he could stay lower to the ground longer as the ball approaches and catch the ball more out front. Kai featured a nice athletic move to the ball during batting practice, and looks to have gap power or better in the future. The approach was a bit off as he used only the left side of the field. His game swings produced solid results as he belted a couple of solid line drives for singles, along with an impressive inside the park HR, and a line drive out to the RF. He's an energy type player with good tools and athletic projectability.
