Cameron is a young left-handed hitting catcher, who featured a slightly above average arm for his age, his pop times ranged between 2.01 and 2.10 seconds. He featured soft hands and quick feet but threw from three quarter slinging motion, this would need to be adjusted to create consistent accuracy and carry as the game speeds up at higher levels. His game throws ranged between 2.12 and 2.33. Cameron sits slightly high and could use a little push through the ball as he throws to the bag, he like many young catchers, catches first then moves, rather than moving through the catch. During BP, Cameron featured an athletic stance with a solid negative move and load, he had a nice middle of the field approach, and during the games smoke several hard-hit line drives with a quick well-timed swing. More strength and quickness added to Cameron's body will allow him to catch for a while. He's got a chance to really hit, at an impact level.
