Gray is a tall, lean, rangy OF/3B/RHP, he featured an above average arm and accuracy during his defensive session in the field, he used his hands well, and had good footwork on all his throws. During BP Gray showed solid bat speed, he did not sync his hands and lower half together a few times, this is common among young hitters. He showed solid power potential with his swing. During the games Gray crushed the ball, reaching base with two doubles a triple and a single. A solid offensive performance. On the mound, Gray featured a fastball that sat between 81 and 80 mph, and a curveball at 67 mph. A longer stride added to what are already clean mechanics should produce more velocity.  He's a good athlete and projects very well as a corner position player who could very well come on as a pitcher.
