Ryan is a solid tall left-handed outfielder,/pitcher who looked athletic, and featured an above average arm with solid accuracy from the outfield. During BP, he used the whole field and sprayed lined drives around, despite not having much load with his upper and lower body. During the game he struggled in a few early at-bats but he showed solid bat speed on a hard hit triple down the RF line and he does have hit-ability. On the mound Ryan featured a fastball that was between 78 and 77 mph, and he spun a curve ball up at 62 mph. He had some slight arm side run and he was able to command both pitches for strikes. His arm showed much better from the outfield, which means, for Ryan to climb to the next level as a player he must learn how to use his lower half off the mound, he could also use some upper half turn/torque, as a shoulders stayed perfectly square in line to the catcher as he pitched.  Show your numbers and lead with the right hip/rear.
