Alexander is a 2019 3B/RHP who featured an above average arm during his defensive session, his hands were soft, and he moved through the ball well. He could use better first step quickness as he matures. During his BP session, he was able to barrel up several balls to the gap, during the game, he found himself chasing some pictures out of the zone. It looked like he was possibly trying to do too much (he's young, that happens). On the mound Alexander's velocity with his fastball was between 82 and 79 mph, he spun up a curve ball at 71 mph. Alexander threw from a high 3/4 delivery and struggled with his command from the outset, whereas in the field his arm was loose and whippy, but not so much off the mound as he was not using his legs like he does from the field when he throws. The arm strength is there, a little fine-tuning will give him a chance to have a great spring season.
