Michael is a good looking 2017 catcher, with an above average arm, solid footwork and soft hands. His pop times in the workout were 2.07 and 2.15 seconds, but was not moving through the ball at catch. By doing so those pop times can be shaved some. During the game he threw 2.18 and 2.26 with accuracy. Michael's BP session was strong, he sprayed line drives around the field by allowing the ball to get deep in the zone. During the game Michael continue the line drive theme and banged out a double to the gap and another hard single, along with some well struck ground balls.
