Tom is a 2017 3B with an above average arm across the diamond, he does throw from a slinging 3/4 slot , though it was accurate.  He would need to raise the arm angle to please the next level of coaches.  His hands were solid and he moved through the ball well, staying low and below the ball. During BP Tom was having some timing issues, as one pitch he would jam himself, then on the next be early to the ball.  His game swings were much better.  He had a hard hit triple to go along with a couple of deep fly balls, at times the swing path was angled to steeply, but Tom put together solid at-bats.  He's got good bat speed and is strong.
