Brian is a 2018 tall RHP/1B who featured a fastball that ranged between 80 and 79 mph, he also fired up a curve ball at 68 mph. He had solid mechanics, a slightly shorter stride for his size, more velo will come with some length in it.  He fired from a high 3/4 arm slot and was in command of his fastball, with slight deceleration of his arm on his curveball. Remember, best disguised pitches all come out of the same slot with similar arm speed. Brian's height and size is an asset, with a continued arm throwing program and a pitcher's weight program expect the bump to the high 80s very soon. In the field Brian's arm shows off better then on the mound, this is due to him engaging his lower half better, and using his athletic body to create more whip with his arm during the movements of his feet and body. During BP, Brian had a slightly angled bat path, and had some rhythm/timing hiccups on a few swings.  Like throwing, Brian needs to incorporate his lower half together in the kinetic chain with his upper torso. Great things happen when those two mesh. Brian's in games swings produced a chopped 4/3 ground ball, K on the slider and a cut pop up to second base with the angled swing path. On the flatter swing path he smoked a line drive to left field for an out. That's the swing path we want to replicate and repeat.
