Connor has a big strong moldable body and hits from both sides of the plate, he demonstrated a strong flat swing path with a great load and finish, was out front of a few pitches then made the proper adjustment to drive the ball into the gaps. In the games during the early AB's he looked slightly tentative then came on late with some good quality AB's and a loud line drive to CF, defensively he was nimble and had soft hands around the bag at 1B, he sets up nice and made some good picks on potential errant throws. On the mound he had a clean loose delivery, but, the arm did not match up to his size or throws on the infield, this was due to a short, no lower half stride that does not give him the momentum down the slope to whip his arm to a higher velocity. As a switch-hitting 1B he has a very good chance to develop into a top notch player for his HS.
