Wesley displays promising hitting & defensive ability and a high level of overall athleticism. He could become a stand out player very soon.  Defensively, he shows a strong above average arm & good ball tracking skills, with a good jump and quick release.  Offensively, he has good hands as a hitter & made some good passes at the ball, with a very nice all-field approach.  Look for Wesley to progress quickly as he continues to mature physically.  He is also a capable infielder and showed a good arm action and tilt on his pitches in an inning on the mound.  Katz looked athletic on mound, with a short stride and minimal front side stability (he hasn't pitched much in the last year or so), his timing of the separation of his hands can and will improve the more reps he has on the mound.  Overall Katz is athletic and steamlined and he plays with a quiet but noticeable confidence.  His dugout presence was also noted in a positive way by the on-field coaches.
