Giancarlo is a strong strapping player with thunder in his bat, he took solid batting practice with a nice load and finish through contact, he barreled balls into the gap and continued having quality AB's during the games. He's very 'hitterish' at the plate and potentially dangerous every time he comes up. Solid athletic actions in the field with a avg. to slightly higher than avg arm at 3B and behind the plate. His hands and feet could use a weekly dose of defensive only work on both corners and behind the plate. The more athletic and loose he makes his actions the higher his play will climb. Ceiling is high for him due to bat potential and corner INF/OF profile.
