Brett is an athletic 2017 outfielder with a slightly above average arm, he had solid accuracy and actions in the outfield. During BP, Brett did not use his hands as well as he can (and will), as they were not getting loaded properly, he was caught in between several times. The bat speed is good, but there are some mechanics he can work out. During the game, Brett hit a HIGH fly ball to left and lined out to RF. He showed more bat speed during game, and was not caught in between with his load.  BP can be a hit or miss thing sometimes in a showcase, game swings can be more comfortable for many players. By creating a more disciplined batting practice routine Brett will find more consistency at the plate. Brett is a good athlete with tools and a chance to develop into a solid college player.
