Kevin is a 2017 SS/RHP with a slightly above average arm, who features solid quick actions in the field. He has a good set-up and moves through the ball well with an accurate arm. During BP Kevin was solid, he moved the ball around the field and showed the ability to drive pitches. During the game Kevin dominated the pitching by collecting five hard hits, one being a two-bagger. His hitability was clear as he routinely found the barrel, displaying a full field approach and the ability to use the opposite field, while staying on both the fastball and offspeed pitches. On the mound Kevin featured a fastball that ranged between 82 and 79 mph, he had some trouble commanding it, and he spun up a curve ball at 72 mph. His command struggles were due to falling off the mound to the first base side, and not staying behind the ball with his fingers. That's just something that can be cleaned up in pen sessions and the more he throws off the mound the better he will get.
