Lea was battling an injury and was able to only catch, play defense.
Jeremy is an athletic catcher with a slightly above average arm, capable feet and soft hands. During his defensive session he featured pop times between 2.08 and 2.15 seconds, his throws came from a low 3/4 slot, with a bit too much arm side run. His game throws ranged between 2.04 and 2.07 seconds, which for his age are very good. A young catcher, who with some clean-up of his mechanics, i.e. footwork, higher release, and a positive move through the ball at reception, can become a long term receiver at the college level.
