Parker is a solid 2018 first baseman with an above average arm, he has solid arm stroke and accuracy throwing to the bases, but could use some cleanup of his foot work around the bag, as his actions were a little unsure. During BP Parker showed an athletic stance, and the ability to drive the ball with power, though he did not use the opposite field much in BP.  However, during the game Parker hit a deep fly ball to right field and a hard hit single that direction, while also driving the ball to CF and again to RF. By polishing up his defense and working on a consistent whole field approach offensively, look for Parker to do some damage.  With his height and build, it would be interesting to see if he could develop at 3B.  Working as a corner OF would also give him versatility that would allow his hitting to be prioritized.
