Josh is a well-built 2017 outfielder with an above average arm. He is athletic and moves well in the outfield and plays the game with a football type intensity, constantly putting pressure on the defense right out of the box and on his way around the bases. He is a big strong kid but also has the ability to steal bags, showing good timing and getting great jumps. During his BP session Josh sprayed line drives around the field, using a nice short stroke over a well balanced stance. He swings with aggressiveness but maintains consistent contact, evidenced by not striking out in his 6 at-bats. His in-game swings produced three solid line drive singles, and posted a 4.51 to first base on a 6-3 chop showing the big man can run. This fall will be a huge one for Josh, we look for him to take it to another level.
