Rudy is a 5'7" middle infielder with quick hands, above average infield actions, and an average arm. Rudy showed the ability defensively to play at a higher level, and more arm strength will keep him on the left side of the diamond. During his BP session he had a small load and a quick swing, he barreled up five of the pitches he saw. During the game his swing was slightly steep, causing him to hit three ground balls and not perform as well as his practice session. Rudy has a higher ceiling, if he accentuates his speed and his athletic ability with some more functional baseball strength.
