Chris has a strong MIF's build with very athletic actions and advanced movements for a younger player (comes from being the son of a LONG time head coach). He already shows as a recruitable runner based on the way he scooted around the field. Chris featured a short quick LH swing with an advanced swing path of staying inside the ball, even when thrown inside. He sprayed hard hit balls across the diamond in both BP and games with a patient approach of allowing the ball to get deep. Defensively his actions and arm played above avg, he featured soft hands, quick and proper footwork and only caught the ball off his right side a few times. Chris can play both sides of diamond, but we will most likely see him at SS. Chris will be a nice MIF catch next summer or sooner.
