Travis was a bit out of sorts at the plate due to a lot of head movement going to the ball and was having timing issues both in the game and BP session. However, it's not wise rule him out as a hitter on one weekend because his hitting mechanics can be worked out and he has bat speed. His frame is taller and lean, lots of room to grow as a catcher. He features an above avg, solidly quick arm stroke, and serviceable foot work that can be smoothed out. His pop times were between 2.18 and 2.23. those times will improve dramatically as he fills out and gains strengthand quickness. He has soft hands, showed solid movements around the plate and looked the part. Yet another solid receiver at this event, one with good growth and physical potential.
