Phillip features a lean athletic body conducive to being a MIF. He took a some good swings in BP, though some timing issues with his load and steep swing path didn't allow him to show his true ability in that setting. His timing was better as he hit some balls hard in the games to left side and a liner up middle. On defense his arm and quickness, profiled out as his best tool, and he did move his feet well and properly caught ground balls off of left side of body. Runs and throws good with a build that suggest a higher level of athleticism as he physically matures.
