Kyle is a stoutly built first baseman, who had soft hands and good actions in the field. His arm plays out to be about average or slightly above average. At the plate, during his BP session Kyle allowed his hands to drift with his body, this caused him to be somewhat steep, and miss under the ball, also affecting his timing.  A solid separation of his feet and hands, and not allowing his hands to drift, but rather staying back in the stride, are adjustments he can make. Kyle's game swings produced mixed results, with balls hit to all fields.  He struggled in the early at-bats but settled in and was hitting the ball much better by the end of the event. There is some power in his future, as he continues to work on his swing path and finish.
