Ethan is a strong, lean, rangy and good bodied catcher with a strong accurate arm, he featured quick feet and the ability to catch at the next level. His pop times to 2B ranged between 1.93 and 2.14 seconds. At the plate he had a quick short swing, slightly steep and could be a bit flatter., though he does create backspin and has power that will play. Ethan showed the ability to drive the ball to the gap and featured several doubles (3) during his game at-bats. He's a high level prospect with the glove and with the bat.
