Nate is a solid athletic player, with an above average arm and actions in the field, with a nice release and good body control. During BP Nate showed the ability to drive the ball to the gaps (all fields) with a short compact swing path and did not disappoint during the games as he lined the ball around the ballpark with a solid approach and quality at bats. Nate stays behind the ball well too. His stroke and finish are similar to a Jay Bruce type swing. He ran the bases well, making aggressive turns and reading the defense.
