Zach is a lean athletic infielder who featured average arm and average actions during his infield work. During batting practice he had a little too much drift with his body and his swing path was a little too steep at times, though during the games he did hit some balls hard and squared them up well. He has good finish to his swing and the ball comes off his bat well, as he showed the ability to split the gaps. His athletic body type and smooth actions suggest that he has a nice spring ahead of him. At his level of HS competition Zach would do well to have a STANDOUT season.
