Connor is a strong athletic looking catcher who during the defensive workout showed average to slightly above action average actions and an average arm.  His set-up was a little high and he threw pop times during the workout of 2.19 to 2.21. His batting practice he had a nice set-up but his bat path was a bit steep and had a some slice through the ball, creating inconsistency at contact.  His game throws down to second base were 2.35 and 2.28. We didn't get to see much in his game swings as he was hit by the pitch twice which resulted in K's later in his at-bats, due to to a strike zone that got to be a bit large. Connor can work on his overall athleticism and arm strength behind the plate to up his stock.  He's got leadership qualities and worked well with his pitchers.
