Matt is a lean wiry, rangy athletic third baseman/right-handed pitcher who had average actions at third base and showed an average arm across the infield.  He was unable to sync his feet and hands together during his throws which limited how the ball came out of his hand. At the plate his swing has some length and as he learns to be consistent with syncing his hands and feet, his talent will start to shine.  He's a long and rangy young player and as he gets more muscle he will control his body better. He did show good gap power and some power potential.  On the mound he featured a delivery that was a little mechanical with a high over the top slot and a soft front glove side. By keeping his glove in line with his front legs ride he could increase his velocity and loosen up his arm whip and release point. His fastball was 80 to 78 mph.  He's a young man with quite a bit of ability.  It's just a matter of time before his physicality catches up with his tools.
