Scott is is a 5'11" solidly built catcher, who displayed an above average arm with carry and solid accuracy, as well as above average actions for his age behind the plate. His pop times were between 2.07 and 2.25 seconds. He's in game pop time was 2.41 and 2.32. During his batting practice session Scott barreled up four of eight pitches he saw, featuring a small load in the swing path that spun off the ball at times. An inside approach would serve Scott well and allow him to drive the ball in the middle of the field, where his strength will play. During the game Scott hit two balls on the nose, and showed solid defensive capability.
