Nicholas has a lean, athletic body, good defensive athlete up the middle, featured a short compact swing & drove the ball to gaps during BP. With physical maturity/strength gains the ball will carry even better. He demonstrated the ability to handle his glove w/soft hands & quick feet, his arm stroke/release can quicken up in the future, which will only raise his defensive profile. Look for Nicholas to make an impact as a defender & hitter as he continues mature physically. On the mound, he featured good mechanics & a clean delivery. He has a short stride that somewhat limits his velocity as he could use more momentum down the mound.
