Carson is a 2018 tall and lean RHP. He featured a fastball that ranged between 84 and 79 mph and he fired it from a high three-quarter delivery, at times there was some arm side run to it. He spun a curveball up there at 63 mph, and featured a change at 71 mph. He had solid command, with an easy delivery, and he used his legs well. At times, his front side was short to the plate, meaning lack of glove deception. Look for Carson to make a big splash the spring. His frame and easy arm both suggest strong projectability for him, especially as a 2018 grad.
