Logan is a stout, well-built catcher with an above average arm, hhis hands are soft and capable as a receiver, his feet are a little slow at times, causing his arm stroke to also be slower. His pop times ranged between 2.15 seconds and 2.25 seconds. The slower times are due to inconsistency with his feet, we would recommend ladder drills and jump rope to help speed up the lower half. This will in turn create a shorter arm stroke, and drop his pop times closer, or under 2.0 seconds. At the plate, Logan's BP swing was flat, and on time, he had a solid inside half approach, and sprayed the ball around the field. During the game Logan dominated the pitching, smoking a double and three singles with his advanced stroke. Cleaning up the mechanics behind the plate will help Logan advance to the next level of play.
