Ruben is a strong and burly built 2017 RHP/3B who displayed the ability to miss bats with his pitches. He fired up a fastball that ranged between 86 and 83 mph, and a curve ball between 71 and 73 mph, and a slightly hard change up at 78 mph. Ruben created a solid down angle to miss bats and has quality mound presence. He attacked the hitters well and will be a force in his conference this spring. His approach keeps hitters on their heels and he is clearly the aggressor in competition.
