Jason is a stoutly-built third baseman/right-handed pitcher who featured a slightly above average arm for his age in the the field. His actions and hands were slightly stiff and continued repetitions will give him a more comfortable appear.ance During BP Jason put on a laser show, as his timing was impeccable. During the games, the swing path got a little steep, as he chopped several ground balls into the ground and swung over a CB for a K. He did smoke a double into left center field, which showed off his strength. On the mound, the arm strength did not show up quite as well. His fastball ranged between 74 and 73 mph, and a curveball up at 63 mph. More experience off the bump, with mechanical tweaks will equate to higher velocity and better control.
