Ethan is an athletic catcher, one that could use some more lower half strength, which will come considering he is entering his junior season. His defensive session revealed an average arm and slightly above average quickness behind the plate. His pop times were between 2.05 and 2.12, and he had an in-game time up 2.07. During the BP session he featured a very good set up and negative load in use of his hands spraying line drives around the park. His in game at-bats, produced more of the same, driving balls to the gaps and great quality at-bats. More strength, better arm strength, Equals very recruitable catcher.
