Spalding Mr. Versatility Award

Brian is a solid, athletic middle INF/OF that showed off an above average arm in the outfield w/ very athletic actions, and showed an even better arm & actions in the infield. His hands are soft, he executed nice footwork & arm stroke on all his plays. As a switch hitter he has nice quick hands, a flat swing path, & worked a middle approach and used all fields as a hitter. Brian will be a strong & capable player for years to come.  He's also caught in the past and that could come back into play in the future.  As a pitcher Brian showed athletic actions on the mound with an easy & smooth delivery. Had good mound presence and did a good job of pitching to both sides of plate. CB had tight spin at times and he threw it for strikes.
