Martin is a lanky MIF/P that made all the plays on defense, he is not flashy, rather smooth and cool. He has an easy deameanor about him that confident players carry. He does lack some first step quickness, but that will be overcome by gaining strength and size as he keeps working and matures physically. At the plate he barreled balls up in BP and showed a nice flat short path to the ball. In games we saw him battle to a middle approach and barrel up some balls and strike them well. On the mound it was an effortles delivery, yet like so many youngsters, he lacked the proper speed and reach off the mound with his front foo which is the move that can boost velocity.
