Very hard-working, smart young catcher who is willing to do the dirty work to be an asset behind the plate.  His workout pop times/technique carried over into the games. Peter also showed toughness and the ability to work with his pitchers, good leadership skills.  He blocked well and deadened the ball off his body.  Showed balance at the plate and a little pullside pop.  As a freshman, he is pretty far along with his catching skills and game presence.
