This is a good HS catcher with defensive skills that help win games, I recall talking to him and telling him he was the best blocker of BIDs we had there, also received the ball very well with a great set-up that pitchers love to throw to, he not only blocked well but he steered and controlled the ball well with great technique, offensively he had multiple hits up the middle which reflected his approach in BP with good hands inside the ball and a short swing. He's on the verge of being as good as some kids who have developed a little more in a physical sense.
