Allen is a 5'10" infielder with a strong body in the field, he showed average actions and an average arm.  He could use more athleticism with his feet and pick up some quickness with some agility drills. During his batting practice he squared up a few of the eight pitches. His in game swings resulted in two hard-hit balls, one being a double and one being a smoked ball at the third baseman.  As Alan flattens out his swing and increases his arm strength he will also increase is value to his team.  He's a versatile defender.
