Josh is versatile, athletic player, During the infield session he displayed average hands and footwork actions on the infield and average arm across the diamond. During BP he featured a no load set up, barreling up four out of eight pitches he saw. During the game Josh continued his line drive prowess, by barreling up balls in each at-bat, except for the one where he was hit by pitch. On the mound he has a loose arm, yet a short stride with a soft front side. With work on improving his mechanics and more consistency he will easily improve his velocity. His fastball is 79 to 81 mph. His athleticism will make it easy for him to improve as a pitcher.
